I agree with this to some extent...However, do you think maybe it is only certain types of television? I look at MTV now and I look back to when it began. It has undoubtedly become less creative, as it is full of reality shows and mindless sitcoms. While they still show some music, it is nowhere near the artist's outlet that it used to be. Maybe such things as commercials and mindless (while entertaining) television shows are the culprits.
