Wow this article is really interesting! I think that some of the things the school said to constitute them not using computers is true (like how students shouldn't rely on apps to teach them better). I do agree that using technology as a crutch can be harmful but I think this school may take it to the other extreme which is just as bad. I think by omitting technology all together is like omitting important historical events from a history class because it may be a touchy subject. I also think the school's idea was almost contradictory because they state that it is not necessary for students to use technology in school, yet most of their students were linked to technologically advanced corporations (like eBay). I felt that the school was being almost ignorant to the fact that not all students have the luxury to go home to such a booming technological environment like some of the students mentioned in the article. Thats's just my take on it.
